10-8 to the Armenian, Lawtong down, and hurt, might be cut round the eye, too.

Lawton getting battered, hurt, takes a standing count.

Stop these, please, someone.

Over now! Lawton should never got this shot. Hatton promotions another poor main event!

Lawton comes out, shaking, well sparked, and ref calls it off.

Shocking matchmaking, dangerously mis-matched, and a weak main event.

Sorry, but not a good advert for boxing.

No disrespect to Lawton, but poor guy- he was out of his depth. And looking at his record, we KNEW that.

I dont know why I only put £10 on the under @ 11/10. It was only ever going to go one way

That was like Walker v Karmazin all over again

Given as a "technical count out?"

Surely a knockout? Or at least, a TKO?

I agree.
This is the worse British challenger for Euro title since David Walker.

Lawton has no business fighting at that level. That was uncomfortable viewing.

There was only going to be one winner but Lawton looked shell shocked even before he stepped in the ring. Hindsight is a wonderful thing but this man gave former European lightweight champion Jon Thaxton some problems before being stopped in the sixth.

That is the official phrase they use, a KO where the ref doesn't count to 10.

Lots didn't read the thread discussing this fight (when it was made). Many gave Lawton a chance.
