One of the worst announcers in history. I was pretty indifferent to him as a fighter, but his announcing inspired fury.

And what fury was this sparked by?

Probably the fact he equated Tyson with Superman.

That was the worst of it. The display during the Holyfield/Tyson fight is unrivaled for suck. I'm pretty sure Evander needed a KO to win on his card and he kept going on and on about his own fight with Holyfield like he was beating Tyson himself.

He always annoyed me, but Irene is correct in that was the one that put me over the edge. Yet every Friday Night I have Teddy Atlas to remind me that Czyz wasn't that bad.

He was a good fighter who enjoyed a decent little reign at light-heavy.

Williams-Czyz is one of my favourite fights.

Czyz was an entertaining fighter.

Czyz was an adequate fighter but his TV commentary was total ego bullshit.

You should hear him & Ferdie Pacheco arguing during one of Ricardo Lopez's fight, it's classic. Neither of them have a clue what they're talking about (the norm, for these pair of jokers), but they're debating their respective points hammer-&-tong
