Sorry to be so blunt, but given that Dodson got knocked out in his last challenge for this title, I find it hard to predict anything other than a Smith win.

Hey Swifty. I think Smith maybe on points but I think everyones writing Dodson off too much. If he kept his defence up in the last minute of his fight with Quigly he'd have beat him. So I think It'll be closer than most people think.

trouble is dodo has himself convinced he will bully paul. This is bollocks. The cracks will start to show with dodson when he gets hit in the ribs.

I think Dodson will have his moments and cause Smith some trouble but Paul will come out on top.

Probably the fairest comment yet! I like both lads an think this is going to be a absolute tracker I'll defo be there watching with envy but I've just got a gut feeling dodson so I'm going to stick with that good fight thow looking forward to it

I would fight either of them and I think I would beat both of them but styles make fights an I think me an pauls fight would gel better being a war! But wot sort of fighter would I be if I didn't believe in myself I now pauls a favorate of yours but believe me I'm well capable of beating them both hopfully on of them will give me the opportunity to prove it

id like smith to beat dodson and fight you in the echo and then move on to the european scene, fighting smith for you makes more sense as he brings the money good luck in april hope you get a decent opponent

There will always be questions around Dodson's punch resistance and Smith can punch a bit. But if Dodson gets his tactics right and manages to stay out of trouble in the later rounds I think he can spring the upset. He's naturally the bigger man - (wasn't Smith a lightmiddleweight as an amateur? I sometimes think Dodson's style of bouncing around a lot causes him to tire later in fights.Sometimes I think he'd be better off taking his time and slowing things down a tad. But I guess it would be difficult to change his style now and he's always been a buzzsaw of a fighter. I don't think you can question how he trains because by all accounts he's very dedicated. In my eyes its a toss-up match and the needle between the fighters adds to the anticipation. Looking forward to this one!

I think this is a fair comment, as i have always believed paul would win, but it wouldn't be easy. What i wouldn't be surprised to see if the round swinging back and forth until about the 7-8th round, and dodson getting caught body shot wise, and being tko'd
