PINK FEATHER CALL FOR CALZAGHE-BIVENS REMATCH!!!

Calzaghe was making Bivens look like a mug, knocking him down twice and showing him what the science of boxing is all about. Leading 107-100, 108-99 twice on the judges scorecards going into the 12th round the referee then stops the fight in favour of Bivens for a little nick on the head of Calzaghe. Has the sim world gone so soft that we don't allow the slightest bit of blood? WE DEMAND A REMATCH!!!!

It was a bad stoppage, I'll be the first to admit. What else was bad was when you were "champ" and didn't want to fight Charles. It was also bad how in last weeks thread you made claims that Bivens was ducking Calzaghe, when the truth of the matter is I was trying to find an opponent for Madison (They got three to choose), so I just wasn't on the sim board a few days.

I have never ducked anyone (Besides Greb this week) and I'd be willing to fight him if he just got up in the rankings a little more. Now you "demand" a rematch? I thought doing you the favor to fight Hill, when Charles went on for the tougher fight with Fox, showed we weren't avoiding anyone and just wanted the toughest fights out there. However, if Calzaghe can avoid Charles when he was a champ......perhaps Bivens can avoid a Calzaghe rematch..........Oh....the cruel world of irony.......

Running with your cuts stoppage like a cowardly chump. You won one or two rounds.

What's all this about Charles? News to us. Not once have we ever seen him as an option to fight. We have fought the best, Langford, Fox, Spinks, Rosenbloom. We haven't ducked anyone, do your research you fool.

Check the fight records thread, it's all there for you to see.

Ducked Charles??? We helped unify the titles by taking the most dangerous matchups you joker.

Week 11 Charles was looking for a title shot. You said, and I quote " Charles will most likely be our mandatory very soon, his time will come to fight Super Joe. Calzaghe-Rosenbloom @ the Echo Arena, Liverpool SIGNED."

So, instead of fighting the number one guy, you elected to fight Rosenbloom instead, pretty much telling us you would fight us, unless you had to, on mando week.

Week 13, Charles took the tougher title shot option in Fox, which was the only reason Calzaghe got a WBO shot against Hill, where he later tried to unify in week 15. I regret doing that for the fact I would have gotten a belt, plus keeping your Charles duck in mind, you didn't deserve a belt shot.

Just looking at the current top 25 rankings, who my fighters have went into the ring with, off the top of my head:

Charles:

Fox (Looking for rematch still)
Loughran (Looking for rematch off close decision loss)
Dillon (Looking for rematch still)
Spinks (X2)
Foster (X2)
Stribling (X2)
Hill
Rosenbloom (Looking for rematch from draw still)

That is 11 out of 21 possible weeks, currently ranked.

Bivens:

Fox
Gibbons (X2)
Spinks
Calzaghe
Foster
Stribling
Hopkins (X2)
Michalczewski
Hill
O'Brien (X2)

That is 13 out of a possible 20 weeks, currently ranked.

That's just off the top of my head. Not to mention some guys currently listed have avoided challenges, and some guys were ranked at the time we fought them.

My whole point is, I don't duck anyone. Proof is right there season after season. You didn't want to face Charles until you HAD to. After crying about Bivens ducking you (when I didn't check the board), I gave you that fight. Instead of coming back on, and kindly asking for a rematch, you start to cry and throw around the Sim-overused "duck" phrase again.

How about you fight Charles and then we can talk......or at least stop crying.........

Geto our quote obviously tells you that we were willing to fight you mandatory week, did we get a chance? No because we lost to Rosenbloom. Calzaghe-Rosenbloom was the better fight at the time. We WERE willing to fight you on a mandatory, we just had other promises and priorities to keep.

You went for the tougher title shot, we will give you that but don't try to pretend you did us any favours. Seeking out the easiest competition is not our aim. We took the title shot as it offered us a route to a unification fight with Fox who let's not forget is the #1 fighter, not Charles and not Bivens.

You go on to reel off a big list but fact is Calzaghe has fought many of them too, CONSISTENTLY. week after week we have fought the best in recent times although with unfortunate results but still fight them we do.

You say you don't duck anyone. Well neither do we. You can use the duck thing on us but I challenge any manager not to make title fights and unification when they can, they were more important than Charles. You say you are not a duck? Then prove it. Accept my challenge

We hold no fear of any of your fighters. Both got knocked out by Fox. Fox tried to KO Calzaghe but couldn't for all his efforts. Calzaghe will school both of your men but do the decent thing and give us the Bivens rematch first.

I think the point you are missing here is that you HAD to fight Charles in mando week. That's why it is a mando week. Rosenbloom a better fight than Charles? No way, not now or ever. Rosenbloom is a complete joke that fought mostly bums just to get a title shot.

I'm not saying you avoid good opponents, my whole point is at one point, you avoided Charles. I gave you the Bivens fight after you was saying I was ducking, when I really wasn't online. Now you want to fight him again, and not only fight him, call the shots in the order you fight people. You are the one that wants the fight and needs vengeance. I'm not saying the fight will or won't happen, but when you attack a man's sim character more then once, it leaves a mark on a man.....it hurts down to the soul.......

I'm not missing any point. When did i HAVE to fight Charles? A mandatory never came along during our title reign. If it HAD then we would have fought Charles.

Duck is thrown around too freely. We didn't deliberately avoid Charles. We would have fought him, we just had brief title reigns and fought other better fighters. AT the time Rosenbloom was a major player, he isn't now of course.

You seem to be so offended by my verbal attacks but this sim game is all about the banter and arguments. It's what makes it what it is. If we all had gentlemanly agreements and were civil to each other then it would be boring. Pink Feather have made a huge effort to make this season successful with much verbals and aggro. Some managers match their fighters and that's it, others recognise that it can be more and spout off at every possible opportunity. So man up and accept the fight.
