Just been sat looking through alot of posts about promoters, trainers and boxers and it has come to me that there are so many people that work alongside them both to make shows happen, they dont ever seem to get a mention and in my mind work harder than anyone pre and post show.

So I thought I would start a rare thread and see how many people there are milling around behind the scenes putting together our boxing nights.

Mine is John Wichhussen (spelling?) from Matchroom, an honest straight man, John is a man of his word and works tirelessly on Matchrooms shows. he is well loved in the game and for good reason, hes a lovely bloke who loves this game and fighters. So thank you John and long may you continue in your job.

Now who can you think of, lets say thanks to those that dont get a mention.

as well as, most importantly, taking away a beautiful ladies husband and a young lads dad, the bloody disease deprived us of a top class bloke and a top class whip.

i only met lee about 6 times, sometimes behind the scenes, but a great smile and cheery nature, always time to have a chat and a laugh and a wind up.

Iv worked first hand with Dean Powell and like i say went in very cautiously and he never done me a wrong,a good bloke who people find it easy to jump up n down and slur his character.

This is supposed to be a thread to give some respect to the unsung heroes that work in our sport, not for you to vent your personal vendetta against FW.

Both the Ernies deserve a mention, Fossey and Draper. The two nicest blokes I have ever come across in boxing.

I will consult my lawyers - they will contact you, I believe your comments paint me in a negative light. Legal action is the only path open to me.

Finally, this thread is about the Good Guys i the sport, can't you read?

So start your own thread called 'Boxing Scum Bags' if you want to say nasty things about people.
