I have to admit that I am distinctly underwhelmed! The headline fight is weak and the undercard doesnt contain a single fight that would command top spot on a SKY FFN show.

As mentioned weeks ago - when the undercard was not even put together - now we have this - my personal opinion is with an undercard that weak for a World Heavyweight Title show they might as well not bother - many of you have already stated you are there for only the David Haye fight anyhow - to be honest the undercard is for me is very very poor for what is meant to be such a prestigious show - it is not often we showcase the Heavyweight Champion Of The World - and whether you or anyone likes it or not - the undercard should also befit such an occasion.

Look at the last time - just have a look at the Lewis/Botha show - then look at this one!!!!

Curtis Woodhouse is fighting French champion Christopher Sebire at LWW..
A fight that might get overlooked but one I know will be a cracker as I've saw these two spar and they don't like each other!!
Curtis had a great win v Morris tonight stopping him in the 3rd.

That was bankrolled by US TV and at daft o'clock - this one isn't.

I'm going to this and making a weekend of it in Manchester. The undercard announced so far is okay by me. I like the look of Quigley v Samuels.

ye Samuels had those belters with Renda and Quigley is a top fighter who's been in some corkers over 12.

it's not a bad undercard, good to see mooresy back, woodhouse on after today's win, i'm not a fan of mcallister and his fight with murphy dont look great but georgie groves hopefully winning a belt, it's not bad but obviously the price is a bit off putting coz the main event isnt great./

It looks decent enough to me- entertaining matches, before the main event. Pretty much what is required.

Would be perhaps better if they could have had one more "high profile" fight too.

There isn't anything that really stands out as "Main Support" yet.

exactly - that's my point. Hayemaker made a point of not fobbing fans off before Setanta went under. Have they just slipped into the same mould as others now??

Renda v Samuels wasn't even the main support at Hatton's bill in Altrincham earlier this year but now Samuels v Quigley is looking like the only half decent competitive fight on the card. No disrespect to Moorsey he gets a bye because its his step back up to middleweight, but McAllister's fight is a joke and shows what a joke the commonwealth title has become!

As said above - none of the under card would be good enough to head a FFN bill on SKY let alone be main support to a PPV event at the MEN.

It's a s**t undercard and that is a fact. There are a couple of names on there, but there are no quality match up's which is all important. No point in putting someone like Moore on there if he's not going to be fighting a decent opponant. The main event is the only thing interesting and that's only because we're interested to see if Haye can get past Ruiz and then look to fight one of the Klitschko's.

Well, some fight's like Moore's are going to be the case- but I think the key is balance.

It isn't a "stella" undercard, but did we really expect that, when they seem to have sold out the venue on the Main Event alone?

How did Navid Mansouri look? I see he won with an early KO.

Might he be one to keep an eye on for the future?

Classy London hope George Groves goes for the Commonwealth super-middleweight title against rugged Ghanaian holder Charles Adamu on the Haye-Ruiz bill in Manchester on April 3 in what adds up to a major gamble.
The unbeaten Groves looks a great prospect but takes on a man with proven pedigree, with proven pedigree away from hope. Adamu won the title in London’s York Hall in December with a 12-round split decision over Liverpool’s useful Carl Dilks, despite long spells of inactivity in recent years, and has also been the full 12 with Otis Grant in Canada and Vitali Tsypko in Germany. He made it to the 2000 Sydney Olympics as a raw unknown.
The Bukom warrior is still raw and obviously knocking on these days but has never been stopped, not even by Carl Froch, whom he was outmuscling on an atmospheric night in Nottingham in 2004 before Froch’s immense stamina took over. Froch turned the fight his way with an eighth-round knockdown but was still forced to settle for a 12-round decison. He commented on the African’s sheer physical strength afterwards. Dilks was also essentially outmuscled. Anyone think Adamu is worried at the thought of Groves in Manchester? The champion has been the full championship distance seven times; Groves has never been beyond eight rounds.
Clearly, the talented Hammersmith man would be unwise to try anything overly ambitious in April, such as loading up and punching himself ‘out’. He must pace himself, work the combinations, think about building up the points, think about winning ON points. At 21 Groves, 8-0 (6), needs to fight beyond both his years and his fights.
It is quite an intriguing match.

because of the main event being compelling they are not really bothering with an undercard.
if mooresy still has world title aspirations he should might someone at least a little testing and not just a euro trailhorse darren mcdermott?
these commonwealth bouts are getting tiresome, a couple of wins over lacklustre opponents will probably earn the average mcallister the WBO mandastory at lighhtweight though as is the norm.
groves is in a good fight so its not all bad

Moore is picking up a bit of stick here for the choice of his opponent.

-it's his first fight up at middleweight
-he is coming off a tough defeat after a war against Ryan Rhodes
-his opponent is a tough, durable middleweight who has taken Macklins next opponent, Gevor, the distance.
-as Adam pointed out [I didn't know this] he has just had shoulder surgery.

I think Moore needs to be cut a bit of slack, this fight is obviously just to break the ice in a new weight class and I would expect Jamie to win it and be out again shortly after against a higher ranked opponent. Best of luck to him.
