HUGO KELLY KNOCKED OUT BY BILLY PAPKE
May 15, 1909, Colma California
First round KO by Papke
I can see from this photo of the first round knockout that
Papke had landed left hooks to Hugo Kelly's eye/cheekbone (look at the swelling there)
and to Kelly's jaw (look at the blackened hematoma already formed there).

That is a good photo of Kelly being KO'd nice quality image.
Must have been one helluva shot.

Kelly lasted the distance against Papke in other fights.
