Can anyone tell me why this got binned? Was really looking forward to to see if Mahone still had it after his loss to DeMori. I was guessing Whitehead might have traded a bit more with him so was keen to see if Mahone still had the power.

No, sorry, I don't know anything about this particular incident and was just browsing the forum. I was a bit taken aback when I read guys sparring a few days from a fight. If I was the promoter I would be pissed off, it's just bad management and probably symptomatic of a bad preparation and guys thinking they need a last minute session. I mean do promoters have to baby people and put in the contracts agreements not to spar in the week prior?

Broken bones maybe or bad back or something like that? strange to spar that close to a bout.... would have been a good scrap.

Translation: The discovered Mahone had been running everyday and training hard had himself in great shape. Not the hopeless overweight blob they were hoping for..............= Cancel the fight!

Mahone has not fought in nearly two years and has won only one of his last six fights.

Why would Whitehead be frightened of him?

Whitehead can be hurt and hurt bad, personally i think Solo would knock him out early next time they fought.

he's scared he might maim him.
