Amir Khan versus.....

....Devon Alexander (didnt want to spoil it for people avoiding last nights result)
Obviously Amir Khan has a tricky fight in May to think about before anyone else. Will GBP agree to that fight should he beat Paulie?
Both the age at 23, both got belts at 140. Alexander turned pro in 2004, Khan turned over after his olympic success in 2005 has fought on bigger shows.
I cant see it happening anytime soon as they both need high profile fights first. Alexander is seemingly being groomed by Don King for a Zab Judah fight next - that makes sense after the stablemate Cory Spinks fights with Judah at welter.
If they both come through Malignaggi & Judah, they will prob have mandatory situations to deal with (maidana especially).

I could see Devon stopping Khan in 3/4 rounds.

I wouldn't fancy his chances against Alexander at all.

Devon Alexander v Khan would be a good fight to make and a massive money spinner - pity Khan is not still with Mr W arren as that fight would have been made in this country - instead New York or Vegas is the more likely venue and Khan is kidding himself if he thinks he will get anything like the support Hatton did.

Alexander would beat Khan..
Mr W arren has more clout than any other promoter in this country - FACT.
I do however, agree Alexander would beat Khan - in a good fight.

DG,
Please enlighten me why you think W arren has no clout on the world scene that other British promoters have - please feel free to give examples!!!

You tell me why he has!
He has no World Champs. No Clout. Not anymore!
Don King has more clout these days and we all know he is a bit part player.
Should Mitchell win against kASTIDIS THEN IT WILL BE UNKNOWN CHALLENGERS FROM NOW ON.
Khan - Calzaghe and Hatton are gone as far as Fwank is concerned.

Alexander brutalises Khan .. theres no way Khan would deal with the speed or punch of Alexander. Prescott is a flat and basic version of Alexander .. and look what he did

Alexander has looked good in one fight and beat up a punch shy Junior Witter. And let's face it, Urango won how many rounds v a bellow par Ricky Hatton?
He is far from proving he is the finished article, unless you believe all the "experts" on here. I don't think Khan woud dare risk him against Khan, it's not just the other way round.

khan will want HBO money i reckon. alexander and bradley will have to do more for their bread, such as fight each other in life and death bout.

Khan fan then ..
Care to tell me who had ever done that to Witter or Urango before?
Make up as many excuses as you like. But, just look through the guys he beat records and compare.

Im not disputing what your saying mate, but nobody would have had Alexander down for a KO against Urango.
A closed eye, a cut maybe but not a knock out.
He made a much more emphatic statement than Amir has, plus is now a double belt holder.

So you stand up for Khan and you're a "fan", slag him off for no reason and you're an "expert".
Typical dumb argument.
While the win over Urango was impressive, Alexander and Khan are pretty much level pegging on what they have achieved. Khan beats Malignaggi, that must put him ahead of Alexander, though. Why not look at it as a possible great fight in the future, rather than just throw pathetic hostility towards everything Khan has achieved.
Alexander, Bradley, Khan - three exciting young champions in the same division. That's good for boxing.

Alexander beating Witter and Urango is better than Khan beating Kotelnik and Barrera, in my opinion.

Alexander
He looks very good and always has a good gameplan I think he would stop Khan in the middle rounds.
