That's exactly what I was thinking...he was due to face Hanna but hanna pulled out. He rang me on Friday, told me about the change, mentioned the name and I though 'if that is the Doherty I remember 1) I thought he was dead and 2) this isn't a 'come back and get your confidence sorted' fight...

Paul came through with a 39-38 win against Doherty!!!!!!!!!

It was a good fight, I really enjoyed it, but thought Paul was the clear winner.

Ok. I was being polite earlier. I actually thought the scoring was generous for Doherty! I thought Ecomomides won every round with cleaner punches, especially on the inside.

He looked happy to walk through Doherty's punches in the later rounds and was the aggressor, so won easily in my opinion!!

But you're probably his mate, so can't judge objectively!

Shaun looked skilled though so hope he carries on and does well!!!

I'd agree with the refs scoring, no way did Economides win the first round, missed with almost everything he threw.

Would also like to add it was a cracking fight
