No way will this be live if itv pick it up and i would also be very suprised if we got the undercard.
This is an ideal opportunity for espn to step up to the plate and start showing some boxing that people actually want to see.
Khan + hennesey and i'm a subscriber.

Probably delayed, yeah, which to be honest is a bit pointless in my opinion. For the real excitment (which is what it's all about) the event needs to be live.
Others may disagree.

If anyone wants to do a good will bet (ie if you lose, give it to charity, if you win , feel smug) I'd give 4-1 that this will be live on ITV.
I'd love it to be on ITV.

because its free and on national TV so it would reach more people

Simply because people don't have sky, I'd guess.
But I'd want it live, of course, not delayed.
IE eve though I don't have sky, i'd rather it was on sky live than just on ITV witha dealy (I could always find somewhere to watch it on Sky0

Would be great if true.
Wonder how Mitchell is going to react to all this? I know it's part of the game but he has often spoke about feeling in Khan's shadow etc and a few of his fans have drummed up a rivalry at times in the past and here Mitchell is on his big night and Khan is in a bigger fight on the same date!

Yes but delayed would be 100% CRAP. Imagine the champions league, wimbledon final or world cup shown 24 hours later - viewers would just shake their heads in disbelief, then not bother watching.
Anyway, it's a 2nd rate fight, and Khan is going to just drop off the radar over here, if he continues to fight at 4 in the morning. it's not as if he's Lewis or Naz, forget it.
I'd guess this ITV rumour is just FW putting a bit of pressure on a reluctant-to-pay-the-price SKY TV.

They'd be shown live, worldwide, as pretty much any televised sporting event I can think of is.

Delayed or not delayed - I would still be happy. Even though I would probably be forking out 15 quid for just the Mitchell vs Kasidis fight.
I think it could signal more boxing in the future on the network, as rumoured recently.

Delayed is a waste of time. Even if you have the willpower to avoid the result, the endless advert breaks and shitty "done later" commentary total ruin the spectacle. Moreover, it just doesn't "feel" right .

I agree if it's done later commentary but years ago a whole generation of fight fans was born largely through delayed TV broadcasts with Reg or Harry there live. I remember Hagler vs Hearns, Mugabi and Leonard were shown primetime on a delayed basis, as well as Sunday repeats of Tyson defences and Mickey Duff shows on the BBC, boxing on free TV is the way forward if we want youngsters to get into the sport, IMHO.

Todays commentary generally isn't great anyway, so I'm not bothered by delayed, after the result is known commentary at all. I have been known to mute the tv on occassions if the commentary is too biased anyway.
I don't need someone to call a fight well for me to enjoy it.
Boxing on the big two channels is always a great thing for the sport.
As for Khan falling off the radar...that won't be happening anytime soon. At the same ages, he is already a bigger star than Hatton, Calzaghe or Lewis were(Lewis wasn't even pro at Khans current age!)and is on a similar level to a 23 yr old Naz in terms of exposure and fame.
Like it or lump it, he is the face of British Boxing right now and will be for sometime. Rightly so too, the lad won an Olympic Silver Medal aged just 17!!!!
