A replacement for the Mcallister fight has just been made and will be announced shortly.

Is that thumbs up supposed to be taking the piss? This undercard is falling to bits. It's supposed to be worth £15 on pay per view

The worrying thing is that HAYE KO1 is really quite feasible. I wouldnt buy a ticket till last minute after the "Barrett ticket rip off two for one scam" debacle.

To be fare, the undercard wasn't announced until 13,000 tickets had been sold.
There was a thread on here that was on about it.
Can't help the fact that fighters get injured.
The McAllister replacement is a better fight. Competitive and a title fight.
Will be announced tomoro.

yeah, but the McAllister fight was not good enough for TV anyway. There had been talk of Ryan Rhodes and Brian Magee both having European title fights on this bill, now all there is Groves v Adamu followed by a bunch of comfortable biding time fights for home fighters. And if anyone says "well most of the crowd will be in the bar anyway", that's not the point and certainly not an excuse for putting on poor fights. Why not put on a fight that will get people out of the bars?

exactly m8, promoters should be putting good fights on, that's why I dont like having so many promoters I may sound naive but why cant fighters just get on bills when they are active and just fight? Why do we have to have so many bills with a lot of good fights being overlooked.
The McAllister v Murphy fight looked poor, Murphy isnt great and Lee was poor in his last fight so maybe not a big loss. I would love Rhodes to be on there but not disrespect d(Dave Coldwell?) but am I right in thinking it's an English/Area title fight?

Understand what you're saying, but, there are only so many fighters that are or were available to make the matches.
We attempted to make Ryan Rhodes' first defence. But as has been well reported, that fell through, not Hayemaker's fault.
We tried to make Barker v Moore, no go. We then tried for Quigley v Barker, again no go.
Jamie is on the bill against a guy who has only been stopped by one of the best prospects around and will give Jamie a decent argument at his new weight. When has Moore been in a dull fight?
Groves v Adamu will be both intriguing and a good fight. It's a young prospect going in against a dangerous veteran champion in only his ninth fight.
Down the card, Maguire is hardly in a marking time fight as he fights a kid who comes to win and throws leather - Gavin Reid. Reid has boxed at a much higher level in the pros than Maguire, recently taking Stephen Smith the distance over eight.
Carl Dilks is boxing Carl Drake who has just won his first title by knocking out an unbeaten prospect that was 10-0 so he'll come to win.
The replacement contest isn't an english/area title level fight, it's a fight i think people will be happy about as it involves a good quality champion who happens to be world rated.
Some of the names that people have been saying should be on the bill, it just wasn't going to happen. Most of the other promoters want their big name fighters on their own show, which is understandable as they have their own tv deals to service.
There were over 13,000 tickets sold BEFORE we announced any undercard fights, so the vast majority of people have bought tickets on the strength of the Haye v Ruiz fight. We have never marketed the show as an event with a star studded undercard, even the posters only have Haye and Ruiz on.

Mc Allister would have stopped his opponent within a few rounds because he will look to make a statement from such a poor showing last time in Glasgow. I presume the televised card is going to be Moore, Groves, Haye which isn't that bad.

Isn't Ryan's co-manager Al Legedly? As a successful promoter, one would hope he could use his experience to help ensure his man gets a really good showcase on Sky via the Hayemaker bill.
If he isn't his co-manager then, of course, I stand corrected and, without prejudice, am prepared to retract that statement.

Who the replacement fight? Also how many tickets have been sold?

I would have a guess at Murray or Magee. Champion and world rated. Could only think of these two who could feature.

Its a virtual sell-out.There is only about a thousand left with a fortnight still to go.Never seen it so packed since the Tsyu fight.Should be a great atmosphere, bit worried about the bars though
