Degale WBA inter-continental title fight may 15th

looks like chunky is fighting his 1st 12 rounder.. i am shocked as he has only been 4 rounds before! but obviously wazza is gonna throw him in with a journeyman with a weak chin :D

Didn't Khan fight Drizlane in a 10 rounder for an intercontinental belt? That was very dodgy that - cause I believe it was later denied that a title was on the line, even though all the press and advertising claimed it would be for an intercontinental belt.... is history going to repreat itself?

Warren bullshits doesnt he? The guy should be ok because remember it is a WBA belt so he shouldnt be a complete waste of space but I dont see him being anyone who will take Chunky 12 or even 8 rounds.

i predicted this would be the route warren guides him down,you've got a big que for paul smiths title & when he vacates there should be some serious eliminators & big franks investment wont be one of them.

They were good in theory when they first came out. Originally it was for fighters in the top 30 of an organisation to fight. The holder would move into the top 10, allowed to defend it against anyone within the 30 - and could move to #1 status through defending the title against better opposition.

Sadly, not really like that now.

x2 hopefully chunky can go for the southern area title or the english next fight, groves is making the step up to title level, so should degale
