Didn't quite work out for the lot of ya. Even with the bribes paid in advance, the judges couldn't get away with stealin' it. Slapsie deliver's twice the accuracy and twice the landings and manages to get in a nap as well. Now let's a give a round of applause to the Sleepy Slapmeister!

SAV is having a difficult time with the accuracy of history. IN this fight it was MAXIMUS who walked away the champion. Just as he did in his fight with Tiger Jack Fox where fox was defeated and became the "ex champion.

I was just reminiscing upon that great season where Slapsie kept his Crown against the inferior Spinks. As was often the case with this legend, the judges ALMOST stole it from him. But the stats showed Rosenbloom completely dominating the "near HOF'er".

Some folks will go to all sorts of lengths to rewrite history won't they? Remember when there was a move afoot to proclaim Spinks as somehow "more deserving" Of HOF status?

No I'm not kidding you! It was under discussion.....of course after all this time as we look back with nostalgia we all know that Max was the true legend of that season....Not TJF, (Who'm Max took to school and rested the title from,) Or Spinks (who did not rest the title from Max and was outslapped 2 to 1 during one of their encounters.) But Maximus himself. The very mention of his name evokes a distinct sense of courage, bravery and tenacious strategery!

Spinks fought, and often beat, the best. As for Maxie? Well, let's just say he wasn't quite so forthcoming when it came to fighting the top guys.
