Is from Iraq, USA set up camp in his town, there was a boxing gym run by the American's he went on olympic rep his quick on his feet, fast hand's and punch abit.. A Fit Ali can beat Most if not all the Fly weights in GB. Was my sparring Partner for the Napa fight, he was fit then and i thought he would be the next Best thing but left London and went to Wales, didnt look fit in his last fight compared to what iv seen him do for 6-8 rounds. Getting the Harder fight's having to go down the Opponent's route :(

lol no bud, i kno the one you mean tho. His name was Najai Turpin, fighter from philidelphia. That was really sad. Najah Ali, ther was a big buzz bout him, he was an Iraqi olympian, had loads of amateur fights, turned over with maloney and now, i think he going under the opponents route which is a shame. I too had him winning and producing the betta work against shinny

Watched his fight against Micheal Walsh on the Night Of The Champions bill, shame it was on after the cameras went off, as it was fight of the night.
Had him winning the first two rounds and dropping Walsh heavy in the second, but he run out of steam and Walsh came back strongly.
Looks like he has gone the short notice opponent route, guess there are not too many promoters looking to push a half decent Iraqi in the UK selling minmal tickets.

I thought he won too and was suprised as thought he would be the 'opponent' as you say, and a warm up for Shinny. But he was anything but, At the very least it was a draw. I think he may well end up in the avoided category.
