A great tasman match for Leapai instead of Mirovic for the interim WBO oriental,as it's already posted on the eastside Leapai wants Cameron.

Leapai V Cameron certainly would be a goodie.
I'd sit on the fence for at least 4 rounds before I'd make a prediction

Interesting match up and will be a goodie but I fear it will be a game of bluff and re-bluff with plenty of hype eventuating in nothing. Meaning both men will take their own paths.... usually this end up with padding their records etc.....
If it happens my pick Cameron by KO-TKO

Leapai is not in the same league as Tua IMO. Leapai has a long way to go anyways, early days for this talented boxer.....

Let Bob have his payday and then let's hope he retires. He is a nice bloke but he is only going to get hurt badly if he keeps fighting.

Hey every1 my name is leati brother of Alex Leapai just an update on him he's training hard who's in full flight for Big Bob Mirovic to retire him ASAP,he's trimmed down and looking & feeling super fit.
Just a message from Alex to heavyweight boxer Chauncey Welliver who also post here.......he quote - once the Mirovic fight is over "I'M COMING FOR YOU & SHANE CAMERON"
cheers.

Im a proud Samoan and I like the Lionheart but if I were to bet I'd say Shane Cameron would win. Shane has fought better fighters then Alex and is more athletic IMO.
Leapai and Meehan should get it on. Cameron and Tua got it on for NZ why not Leapai and Meehan?...

I think Meehan, close to retirement, has bigger fish to fry in his final few fights.

The challenge was put out to Shane Cameron a few weeks ago and they turned it down, Alex as you know is a proud Samoan and Australian when he comes physically and mentally ready to fight he's a force to be reckoned with and never takes a footstep back he's currently weighing at 102 from 110kg and still 5wks off till Mirovic he'll be ready and even more when it doe's come to Cameron and the world stage.

leapai, cameron etc. would get pummelled by meehan.
i'd bet that outside of david tua that leapai would be camerons toughest fight. and it would be no surprise to me if leapai beat cameron. he is tough and throws plenty of meaningful punches.

i sure agree leapai is tough as nails and plenty of power in both hands especially when cameron bleeds easily and can't handle power if caught.

Like a WBA elimination fight with Chagaev in Germany on May 20.

Maybe he could use some of the local heavyweights for sparring.
