Are they going to fight on Froch's undercard, or on another show?

Or are they being left to rot?

Is becoming a bit of a joke all this really isnt it?

Hennessy's rapport with the public is pathetic.

Let us fans know whats happening.

Yeah! I'm sure HS Press will come out when they are scheduled to fight again, so I wouldn't panic.

They need to be fighting much more regulary. O'Donnell is young and has loads of potensial, Barker need's to either move up in class or clear up the domestic scene and Murray should be moved on to the European scene now (or maybe a warm up now)

Bad promotion if you ask me - I can see Murray especially leaving soon, probably to a certain former LWW world champ!!

John O’Donnell’s status as Commonwealth welterweight champion is in doubt. A statement from the Commonwealth Council released yesterday said: “The future status of champion John O’Donnell will be considered during the Spring Meeting of the CBC on 20th and 21st April following the non fulfilment of the mandatory defence against Ghana’s Philip Kotey which the CBC had been advised would be taking place on 5th March.”
It looks like O'Donnell might get stripped of his Commonwealth title. These guys are going backwards at the moment.

surprised murray hasn't jumped ship yet.

he deserves better than this.

go with warren and try and force a mitchell fight.

or even hatton could help his local profile no end.

going nowhere with henessy tbh.

Murray simply has to get away. Built up such a head of steam, culminating in the Thaxton win, and then....... nothing.

I'm sure Hennessey will cite the lack of a TV deal as the reason for why his guys aren't fighting regularly enough, but if he can't help them, then they really should be looking elsewhere.

yeah the fighter has to look out for number 1.

warren has tv.

hatton has tv.

frank maloney has tv.

barry hearn has tv.

what does meaty mick have? junior witter. :o

i think it's a shame.

hennessy should get someone on board with his stable.

but he hasn't yet and that's affecting murray's career.

I liked Hennessy's ITV shows they were all quality and some really decent live fights. But these guys are all top fighters and they arent getting any action, they need some kind of short term deal with Sky I think.

I didn't have o donnell winning against Watson in the first place an i think he should be stripped an Watson should fight kotey for the vacant title !

Another backward step for Murray if it happens. He's already beaten Mcalister, he needs to be moving up in class, not backwards.

Hennessay's shows were good to be fair, but he's definitely punching above his weight with the boxers he has. If with the talent he has he can't get a TV deal you gotta question the guy himself, regardless about whether Sky have a full quota of boxing.

Barker, Murray etc deserve better

Hasn't anyone on this thread picked up on the fact Hennessy went out and won the purse bid for O'Donnell vs Brook but that's been mothballed now on Brook's part ?

Shouldn't Simon Block be asked about that?

In the meantime this African guy has pissed about sorting out whether or not he is medically fit to box and has missed deadline after deadline to return the information.
