I always enjoy watching geard the guy has some world class moves and great defence, he should move up and have a fresh start at supermiddle there would be some great match ups there against dilks, groves, degale, quigley and smith. He gave mathe macklin all he could handle in a great fight, last i heard was geard was ment to be boxing el machi but that was about 8 months ago in boxing news magazine

Is he still on a working visa? If so then he'll fight again, but I thought he had a kid to a local girl now which might allow him residency without boxing.

Spoke to him at length the night Quigley beat Dodson. He was gutted he never done more in the Macklin fight.

He was training in Quigley's gym until recently but I heard last weekend that he was back in Serbia.

Despite having bags of talent he was always too lazy in the ring. A frustrating fighter to follow in all honesty.

I dont think he would have beaten Macklin with greater effort to be honest - whilst Ajetovic has talent to burn, Macklin has talent coupled with an unwavering work ethic/desire to succeed.

Ability alone is not enough to succeed as a championship level boxer.
