Abrahams v Direll betting

I reckon Direll at 11/5 for a decision or technical decision is not a bad punt.
Arthur doesn`t do much in the rounds and Direll can move and stick it to him. Might be worth a few bob on him.
I also like the look of Mosely to stop Mayweather at 7/1. If big Shane can start firing from the get go, he might just pull off the upset.

dirrell to outpoint arthur i agree with, but i cant see may v mosley even being close. mosley is fast and strong but he is far too ordinary to beat floyd imo.
havent seen much of arthur but from what i have seen of him, he can only hit whats standing right infront of him so i think dirrell will be too awkward for him to hit regularly.

I think you'd be throwing your money away on both those punts Fraser.
Mosely was being outboxed by Mayorga for long spells ! apart from Naz in his corner, i give him little chance. Even Cotto seemed as fast for spells during their fight. Mayweather UD12 is defo the bet to make. Although i imagine you'd need to bet huge sums to get a 2p back.
Dirrell on points is worth a dollar. Basically because he could jab, clinch and spoil his way through the points system.
He's younger and fresher than Taylor, but he is chinny - i've watched a bunch of his fights and boy he don't like being hit at all. I think Froch landed about 4 punches in the whole fight and had his nose, mouth bleeding. I dont think his face is conditioned for taking a shot (as daft as it sounds) and any sort of punch wrecks him.
He will look to unload and run off with his gloves in the air, then repeat. Though i can't see the judges liking it this time.

Dont worry, not trying to restart our argument, but dont you think there is a lot more chance of him getting away with it in his home country?Especially since Showtime have invested so much into this and need an American to do well.Arthur could get jobbed here. His workrate isnt great, although i do agree he looks superb when he opens up

I think 11/5 is decent value for Dirrell on points. Dirrell could do a "Ward/Kessler" on him, as he is a technically gifted fighter, whereas Arthur can lose his way in fights. Home advantage could play a part as well.
I have to agree mostly on the Mosely v Mayweather fight and 9 times out of 10 Mayweather would/should have too much for him. There is just a feeling I have that if Mosely can open up, he can hurt Floyd. There is no way Floyd will stop Mosely in my opinion, so Mosely will always have that big punch chance, which we know he can throw.

It wouldnt suprise me if Dirrell does manage a points win. He got no favours from the judges last fight as he was the away fighter and the challenger well this time he is the home fighter and not fighting against a title holder.
I laugh at how the Americans call Dirrell a defensive genius tho, and yet call someone like Sven Ottke a boring runner. Yeah ok Dirrell is a hell of a lot more skillful but he fights exactly the same way to Ottke most of the time, you really would hate to see your favourite fighter lose to this kind of guy.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that Floyd does stop Mosley. He will have been out of the ring for almost a year and a half, look average prior to the Margarito fight (in which he was probably flattered). He's been in a lot of hard fights and isn't getting any younger.
If Mayweather has grown into Welterweight, during his time off has been in training for a long time, I think he might be sharp enough and accurate enough to force a late stoppage. Although, the likely scenario is he boxes like he did against Baldomir.
As for Dirrell v Abraham, thats a good fight. Be good to see Andre, use his foot speed in this one and see if he can make AA look clumsey and miss a lot. You have to got with Abraham though, probably by UD.

I think you're doing Ottke a dis-service there.

I think the draw at 25/1 is worth a punt in this one. Never backed a draw in a boxing fight but first time for everything.

ive said for a while that i reckon dirrell will beat abraham , by a fairly wide points margin , i just cant see AA chasing him down , so if dirrell does what he did against froch , at home too , dirrell will take it . if this happenned would froch maybe get more credit for beating dirrell , much in the same way as with pascal who at the time of fighting froch wasnt thought of too highly on these shores wheras now i think many of us regard him as genuine world level.
only difference may be that froch v pascal was a cracker and froch v dirrell was a stinker .

Had the Dirrell vs Froch fight been in the USA Froch would have lost. The Americans complain about the scoring here in the UK, well to be honest it aint much better over there. When Froch fought Jermaine Taylor I couldn't believe that he was 4 rounds down going into the last, I had him a round down.
Im watching the Dirrell v Froch fight again now, for the first time since the fight with American commentary on and again the American commentators are favouring Dirrell a lot, having him winning way more rounds than I do. They love their double standards, when Witter ran from Judah it was a disgrace but when Dirrell does it for 9 rounds (and he did fight at the end and landed some real good shots late on) and its called a defensive master class. Likewise when Haye does it against a guy who is nearly a foot taller and about 100lbs heavier its branded a disgrace.

Dirrell can definately get this on points, i've been reading that he's been doing all of his recent sparring sessions on roundabouts. Come fight night he'll be circling around that ring so fast that when he throws a right hand Abraham will be catching it as a left hook.
Its going to be ugly man, the stinker of all stinkers. Dirrell will be running a marathon, and Abraham trying in vain to catch him up. I reckon about 7 clean punches will be landed all night, divvy them out as you like, i just hope one of them see's Abraham KO'ing the charlatan.

Abraham is extremely effective and puts fighters under pressure just by being in there face and making them fight his fight. Taylor did it and you thought he was going to pull away with his boxing but Arthur stepped it up, hurt him in the ninth and then dominated until closing the show.
Arthur to demolish Dirrell in about eight rounds.

i think arthur could get screwed here i heard they having a big ring for dirrell to run all night long, i think the only two betting options on this fight are dirrell points or abrahams ko. hope arthur sparks him and he will if he lands but think dirrell might just run and grab and fall over his way to a points win, may just have a couple of doubles with friday nights fights like small ko and dirrell points or matthew hatton points abraham ko. regarding the small fight i aint seen much of webb wots his chin like or is it like his record suggests and untested at the higher domestic level?

The ring size is set for all the fights in the Super 6.

i think dirrell will just keep on beating himself. like derek gainer, running too much and being out of range too long, absuing his advantages in speed and athleticism. just as naz has had a negative influence over here (you could say froch and haskins have some terrible habits despite having success at different levels), you could say that roy jones has had as bad an influence stateside (gainer, bj flores, etc).
but i hope king arthur blows away my least favorite world rated fighter.
if AA pulls it off vs this difficult - stylistically, temperamentally - opponent, then i think it's safe to say his weird style works.
great to see AA in real tests, considering he was once a home german fighter in nondescript title defenses down at 160. hopefully his opponent on sat is willing.
