Wouldn't call Lawton & Maccarinelli's opportunities easy

I don't think Enzo's chance is out of place. After all, he's boxed at the highest level which is more than you can say for the guy he's fighting. Frenkel's best win is over Kelvin Davis, who had not won in his previous seven fights when he fought him.

You can't compare Enzo with Lawton or Matt Hatton, who have both failed in their attempts to win Commonwealth or British titles.

But enzo has not done anything of late to warrant this shot.

Not a good advert for the sport.

The depressing thing is as well we know he won't fight the British Champion.

What has the other guy done to warrant it? Who in Europe is much better and available?

Macca doesn't deserve his shot on the back of a couple of farcial blowouts, but neither did Lawton or does Audley through beating up some novices in Prizefighter so we can hardly moan
Enzo should have retired because the Haye and Lebedev defeats were scary. He is just about in the most recent EBU rankings top ten, but as long as there is some sanction money coming in the EBU are happy.
Good luck to him but I would rather he packed up

Hide has had one 4-rounder in a year and who's he beaten?

Presumably, Lebedev, Hide and Afolabi (who isn't licenced in a European country) did not put their names forward.
