I recall an article by Lester Bromberg in Ring Magazine (I think it was April 1978??) discussing the greatest black fighters, pound-for-pound, of all-time. I think he had it: 1-Ali, 2-Robinson, 3-Armstrong, 4-Louis, 5-Burley, and then proceeded to explain who Burley was to an audience he assumed had forgotten him.

"Who the hell is Burley?" sounded pretty dismissive to me.
