Denton Vassell v Lee Purdy 16 April Commonwealth title

Not sure what happened to the Mark Thompson v Adman Amar match-up, but I think this will be a better fight. Both have crowd pleasing exciting styles, but I think Purdy will just nick this one in a potential thriller!

Yeah, a well matched fight, thats good to see. Likewise, it';s good to see "double header main events- hope both are shown live.

I wasn't impressed with Purdy last time out, he seemed to be bothered by the body shots from Douglas. Maybe Purdy had underestimated Douglas. He had better prepare well for Vassell

He's completely untested against another guy who is basically unproven in championship class.
Just makes a joke of Sky's demand for a title fight and the fact that guys like John Murray and John O'Donnell can't get a fight.
OK, so it's a last-minute job. But I would rather see a decent world class 10-rounder rather than these hopeless Commonwealth title fights.
To be fair to the Hattons, the show in Dagenham was two well matched title fights.

Vassell looked good and kept it together. the whole show was good. especially Craig Watson who took the fight at only two days notice.
looks like the Hatton's are getting there with their shows.
