Speaking of Dilks, I heard Drake suffered a fairly bad KO in their fight last night. Anyone know is he ok?

It would be a very intresting fight, Groves has so much talent as does Smith. Groves has more talent but Smith is a lot more expierenced and would cause him a lot of problems, I would say Groves a decision (Very close though, could be contreversial imo)

If he is the mandatory then the fight will have to happen, not unless he Wns the European and gives up the British...

The British in this Weight is Looking Great some Exciting Fights out there...

smith will only fight this kid if he has too period.

smith is going for big fights, big money which makes proper buisness, this is a buisness after all im sure frank is aware groves is better then david & anderson who have been waiting in contention even before smith came to the division so a fight against these looks likely before relenqueshing for a pop at somthing bigger like the european or wbo title.
i feel if smith fails he goes back to middle anyhow.

No your Right but do you think that because Magee has the Euro Title he wont want to fight for the British Now a step back for him?
Smith Needs Magee not the other way round. imo Smith needs to be Magee's manditory for the fight to happen (aint sure who is manditory)..
There's no batter man then who he is with to get him some Big Fights tho...

Then you dont know what the European title is worth.Did you see Magees purse for challenging? He obviously isnt afraid to travel,so could get a huge offer to defend abroad. We are talking at least double what the Smith fight will pay

But you said moneywise. The t.v money is what matters, and FFN just dont pay enough to offer what the Continentals do

i choose not to vote because we havent seen groves in with anyone half descent yet. we dont know how durable he is and we dont know how he will cope physically and mantally in a 12 round FIGHT with paul smith!! good boxer, but can he deal with what smith brings... pressure, heart, durability and power?? :geek:

I can see Smith vacating the British and going for the European, then maybe Groves v Kenny Anderson or Paul David.

I personally don't think Groves should get a mandatory crack at this stage. There's a bit of a queue ahead of him.

I'm a big fan of Smigga and feel like his last two fights haven't been a fair representation of his ability. However, Groves was incredibly impressive on Saturday...though Adamu seemed tailor made for him.

A very intriguing fight.
