good grief! First there was Diamond, now silver.

Is this a replacement for the international belt or is it in addition to it?

So is this like an Interim Championship belt, sort of? Or is it like the WWE Intercontinental or U.S. Title? Not quite a World Champ, more like second best. I guess that's where silver comes in, though IMHO this belt sounds absolutely ridiculous. The WBC is putting themselves in the same clown show position as the WBA has with their whole Super, World and Ordinary Champion crap they had going on. This is a prime opportunity for the WBO, IBF and IBO (those are the belts Wlad wears if I'm not mistaken) to make a push to the fore front while the WBC and WBA make themselves look stupid and their titles that more less legitimate. The IBC, IBA and WBF could take advantage of their stupidity as well.

Yes, it's basically the interim belt. The Humble Servant of Boxing has ditched interim titles but essentially renamed them Silver titles. Same sh1t, different colour.

I'm just going to start belting old people going past my place to get their daily paper from the milk bar and after thirty or so call my self the Openweight world champion of Bentliegh, Melbourne. I'll buy advertising spots in most of the boxing periodicals and will, therefore, be recognized as a force in boxing.

So what happens when a Silver Belt Champ beats a Gold Belt Champ? Do they trade belts or is the Silver Title declared vacant? BTW, WTF is the Diamond Belt?

WBC is turning into a full time clown show. I think it's time for the IBF, WBO and IBO (which is still not considered a legitimate title by some) to step to the forefront and let the WBC take the back seat with the WBA.
