How would you say will leave the best legacy between theese Heavyweight Champions of the early 2000s. :TU:

Chris Byrd
Oleg Maskaev
Corrie Sanders
Lamon Brewster
Sergey Lyakhovich
Sultan Ibragimov

I have not included the Klitchskos, because one of them would be certain to win.

I have also excluded Peter and Ruiz because they are still fighting near the top in the Heavyweight division. :TU:

Not to mention not one of them could ever legitimately be called, "champion of the division."

Gotta give it to Byrd. He was at least the number one heavyweight for a period of time and has a knockout 8) of Vitali.

I realise the the quality of heavyweights may be exceptionally poor, but I did not want to include Lewus, Holyfield or the Klitchskos...
As they would get all the voes hands down. :TU:

I suppose Byrd probably tweaked out the most defences, yet were they all yawnsome decision victories? A couple of them he was lucky to get too!
A badly faded Golota took Byrd right to the wire.... only for Brewster to KO him in 40 seconds.

This list should be renamed who was the best alphabet champion of the 2000s
