I think Vladimir would stop Haye quicker than Vitali, but Haye has a better chance of winning against the younger brother.

I've written Haye off completely up to now but I'm starting think he has a real chance in the first 2 rounds. Any later than that and he'll have absorbed far too many shots.

I am willing to bet Klitschko's are simply trying to take the moral high ground here because they know the fight wont be happening - yet!!!

They know there is a "can of worms" concerning who is promoting Haye!!!

They know there is also mandatory obligations and thus the chance of getting Haye/Wlad at this present time is slim - unless some humble pie is eaten by the respective promoters and some step aside money is paid to those and there is more than one in line to face Haye.

Although I give Haye more credit and give him a longer time frame of geeting the job done - maybe 5 rounds

But after that - he is on a loser I think

think its a great video.they are all gonna make huge money out of this. i like haye...he may not be the best heavyweight of all time...but he might be one of the smartest.hes got charisma ,a brain, is affable and can bring boxing back to the general public for both men and women.he is a great and positive advert for the sport,,,and he can (with a bit of luck) do the business.
this "call out" video, in black and white and closeup(even tho it is a bit like a poofy aftershave ad-exittored)will grab the public's immagination. if this is round two of the haye-klits publicity war then wlad has just landed a jab worthy of larry holmes(described by mcillvaney i think , as like a letterbomb going off in your face) and sets the scene perfectly for haye to respond with something equally big screen and attention grabbing.
anyway..what im saying is that the publicity for this fight may even be better than the fight itself. but we might as well sit back and enjoy the ride

I think Haye is a decent heavyweight who has come along at the right time

But I dont think he would have been champion with the likes of a prime Holyfield , Lewis , Tyson, and Bowe around

And he still has to prove he is good enough to beat the Klit brothers of this era.

just how much do haye and wlad want the fight?

wlad can pay off his mando povetkin. povektin doesn't want the fight, his trainer wants 2 or 3 more fights to prepare. IBF could prove to be a problem as they are imposing deadlines for the mando, and may come up with another contender to replace povetkin. if it comes to it, is wlad prepared to ditch the IBF title?

and haye can keep sauerland and valuev off his back (IMO), by dumping that shitty WBA title.

wlad is still considered THE MAN, ring magazine acknowledge him as their champ, he'll still have a sanctioning body title (WBO). i think haye and wlad have a window to make the fight happen, but if negotiations drag and drag, they'll just end up fighting their mandatories instead. IF the fight means more than the belts, it can happen.
