Pittman may have been winning but he looked like garbage. Didn't have the power to scare Kwadjo off.

I see a rematch ending the same way.

Kwadjo's kd punches weren't lucky punches. They were good solid well selected shots

Can't argue with that dan, but at least he is willing to get back in there and give it a go I guess...

Haha, Iceman, no I couldn't do better as I am not a proffessional boxer. But I am a boxing fan and this is a boxing forum where fans give there opinions. ie you said you thought pittman was "killing it" whereas I did not.

Your opinion is no more/less important than anyone else's here.

Proffessional athlete's earn their living out of sponsorship and fan $$$ so it is part of the process to be judged by fans and sponsors. Regardless of whether or not that particular fan or sponsor could do any better.

I have always liked pittman as a boxer and he seems to display himself well in public from interviews I have seen, I hope he has great success. But all of that doesn't change the fact that he looked awful last week and got KO'D by a decent fighter, not a lucky punch.

I also hope he gets and wins the rematch but I am just saying from what I saw last week I can't see the result being any different. Unless Pittman can find a way to generat some more power out of his shots.

There is a way he could beat him without adding power.....fix his footwork, and realize that he doesn't have the power to punch with a puncher.Punch and move

Kwadjo is a good puncher and has some degree of boxing skills. But really. Pittman should have never lost.... should have had enough skill and boxing brains to out box Kwadjo.... oh well. Least Kwadjo is getting more opportunity than when he was "transported" to NZ....

Kwadjo was too tough for Pittman. It was that simple. He really made a mess of Jamie.

The fight with that Ciampa bloke, yeah even Pittman himself was filthy with that effort.

seeing the fight, i have to agree with Brute, Kwadjo is not a great boxer BUT is one tough mofo' , he took alot of big shots especially big body shots from Pittman and he took em very well

Next Grange/Fox card;

Bolling vs Kwadjo
Pittman vs Oganov
Vea vs McCracken 3
Ganoy vs someone good

I would like Dib in there i just think he's probably done fighting for peanuts(he has something of a name in the US).

Don't insult some of these names by putting Dib before them, he's not much more than another Elomar. It appears that after a poor showing in 08 in the States that Golden Boy have 'let him go'.

Yeah fair enough, he can be a grub, but i enjoyed the fight the other night as much as i enjoyed his fight with Browne.

I'm just saying that Dib, hats off to him getting through those ropes and risking his life to entertain us, hasn't quite deserved the level of recognition afforded to him.

He's 24 and has done some stupid shit, and your right he's beaten some fighters and there's hype, but his ability to adapt and his new fighting style have me intrigued.

Yes it looks like Pittman got careless and that is the sort of thing that happens when you get hit by a banger.

I certainly wouldnt right him off just yet, he's an Olympian and has fought and beat some tough guys like Sherro, Gare and Mashego so its not like he is a dud.

I watched him tear Noy Noy Gonzales apart one fight after Noy Noy retired Gavin Topp and Toppy was no mug.

It happens and it will be interesting to see if he decides to fight again, he should as it wasn't like Heath Ellis getting KO'ed, eyes shut solid etc. To my way of thinking he jumped up too fast and tried to bang with the guy. Thats why we love boxing I suppose.

To be honest i thought Kwadjo was ordinary, only Pittman still winning was worse.

I hope Kwadjo comes and fights Bolling, Taliepai or similar, but i reckon that he'll be fast tracked with 5 or 6 nothing fights and shipped of to Europe to be slaughtered.

It's a shame that he won't give a rematch, Pittman gave him(a no one) a shot.
