This mexican/irish kid looks absolutely awesome. Very composed and very powerful.

He also couldn't look more Irish if he tried... a mexican with red hair lol. Apparent,y his mother is Irish.

He really looks like the real deal to me on youtube and is only 19 years old with a great unbeaten record.

He fights on the Mayweather undercard and I'm really looking forward to it. I expect him to give Jose Cotto a very severe hiding.

His mother is definitely not Irish although I wish she was. A few journos have reported that he does have Irish blood in him from a few generations ago. He wouldn't look out of place on a halting site.

Yours truly had the pleasure of seeing him in the flesh when he boxed in California a few years ago. I was over there on a holiday visa for a few months. He wasn't at his best that night but you could see he was a raw talent.

Good test for him next , Jose Miguel Cotto.
Alvarez should be to strong for him, Cotto has spent most of his career as a lightweight.
