Is carl already in Denmark or is he in the UK?
I'm starting to wonder if the fight going to be effected by the no flying ash.

just found this on another site, leaves and bad taste in your mouth when the promotor says shi$e like this
Kalle Sauerland said. “The Volcano cannot serve as an excuse for Froch not to show up. Nothing can prevent the biggest boxing fight in Danish history from happening. We are already looking into different ways of transportation. Should need be, we will fly Froch in by helicopter for Mikkel to knock him out. He can then take the boat back home – once Mikkel is done with him, I doubt he will be allowed on a normal plane anyway.”
come carl ktfo of kessler now

I think he's getting a ferry, then driving across Germany. Takes about 15-16 hours in total.
No kidding either.

I got my tickets through this morning. Sauerland have printed and are billing the event as "Kessler v Froch". Very cheeky.

The whole way they are going about this fight stinks and they aren't showing Froch the respect he deserves. I desperately hope he does a job on Kessler to make them eat their words.

That's all right. There's a Dane, a German and an Austrian line up instead.

I would prefer Froch to pull out rather than make the journey by car. I recently travelled from Austria to Calais, and it took it out of me for about 3 days. Travelling by car is fecking tiring.
And I feel so sorry for the fans trying to plane it out there.

Hopefully the ferry/drive over will only make Froch more determined

The promotion will be postponed if the travel issues dont sort themselves out, think about it guys!
I dunno where the ref and judges are but would take a wild guess all 4 aren;t from Denmark. The officials and representatives from the WBC won't all be from Denmark. Some of the fighters on the damn undercard will be from outside of Denmark. And obviously some of the fans will be from outside of Denmark.

One of the plus points of all of this is that anyone who booked for April 18, for Herning or Copenhagen, would be able to get their money back on the flights, because the flight would have been cancelled.
Worth looking up any old emails if anyone has an old flight booked they had written off.
