i'm not surprised ricky has done the churchill ad.

after all, he was advising people to mortgage their homes and bet on him against pacquaio.

he's just trying to be helpful to the masses.

Who in their right mind would turn it down?He is almost certainly retired and will have been offered an obscene amount of money for the Churchill ad.Bruno and Henry Cooper never get stick for it,and they are the only two i can think of off the top of my head,so shows Rick has acheived "National Treasure" status(McGuigan probably did one).
As for Shameless he is a lifelong fan of the show(its not bs,he said years ago),there has always been a picture of him in the McGuire house,the episode was built around him,and its a Manchester based show.What is the harm in him doing a 10 second cameo at the end,it was funny.I never cringed once,i laughed out loud at Carl Gallaghers face

Peter Jones off Dragon's Den got 90k for his shitty money supermarket adverts. Hatton probably got a similar amount. Not bad for a day or two (tops) fornicating about filming.

I quite like that advert its on of my favourites.

They get royalties too, that fella who played egg in this life has made gazzillions just doing voice overs for adverts, can't blame Hatton for doing it really.

What's the problem. he doesn't take himself too serious so why should anybody else. its just a bit of fun. knowing ricky he probabaly like the adverts and thought why not.
shameless is priceless

It raises Hatton's profile and brings in a bit of money. What's the problem? Some people seem to have this view that a boxer can only earn money in boxing and nothing else is allowed. If they even attempt to try something a bit different they get scourn and ridicule heaped upon them.
