Will Munroe - Terrazas be ko'd by an Icelandic volcano ?

Just wondering if the ongoing flight problems might force the cancellation of Friday's Munroe - Terrazas bout. Victor has to come all the way from Mexico and his people won't be wanting to arrive at the last minute for such an important bout. Latest reports from the air traffic control people don't look too promising

And wipe any potential profit clean out?

I dont know how much the chheapest charter from Mexico would be,or FTM'S profit/loss margin, but know enough about a show that size in a venue that size to say they wont be able to just hire a plane willy nilly.Moore-Rhodes lost money FFS.Its not easy to make much, and would imagine Frank was staging it with the longer term plan of getting Munroe a world title shot.

Hopefully FTM can give us a clue today if this is going to be a problem, you can only assume it is but the long term plan for Munroe is important to them so you can rest assured if something can be done for a reasonable price they will do it.

Failing Terrazas turning up I am not sure what they do, perhaps a late late Euro title defence for Munroe but can the opponent make the weight if they have only just been asked less than a week before.

Hope its on, its a very good fight and Munroe deserves his chance.

Apparently Spain is unaffected, they might fly to Spain and then drive?

Does anyone think Terrazas has a chance here against Rendall?

Have only seen about 5 rounds of Terrazas but if he is not affected by the travelling problems I think this is almost a pick em to be honest, he is no Barrera or Morales but he is solid and has a decent jab and possesses enough pop to keep Rendall honest.

Good fighter and he works at a pace, I really hope Rendall can do it but I am less confident than I was when he fought Martinez for the first time to be honest.

But the travelling crap has to have taken a little out of him but he should be here by tomorrow afternoon hopefully so he has a couple of days to recoup I guess

He'll be mandatory so the only reason he won't is if Maloney doesn't want him to get it.
