i can't even be bothered to read about Audley Harrison no offence.

ironically I was egging Sprott on when he tried to close out his fight in style as the aggressor the other week while Audley just stood about, but clearly it was the wrong thing to do, poor fella. Harrison threw a good punch but was basically just lucky, the same old Harrison boxing in his shell.

And so it begins.

In the aftermath of the win, most people were, albeit grudgingly, affording Harrison some respect for a gutsy display and a legit win.

But of course this goes against protocol, so it's back to "Audley is crap" and he was "lucky" to win, and it goes without saying that the arm injury must never again be mentioned as an explanation for his performance. Well, we CAN mention it, but just remember that he was only PRETENDING to be injured for 11 rounds, so he had an excuse in case he lost. Yes, that's it.

No, he's just crap, and that's all there is to it.

If big Audley had had a bad night against sprott i could forgive him but as it was one of many poor performances,i can't really give him much credit,ok so it was a very good ko out of nowhere, but all in all you have to admit that he is infact 'crap',so many poor shows and always an excuse for it.I don't hate him or even dislike him, infact i was pleased that he won the other week, especially the way in which he won, people will now say 'yeh but what if he landed that on Haye',it appears to me that he just doesn't have the heart for a proper scrap, when he realised that his shoulder went he should have gone for it straight away like danny williams did against potter all theose years ago, instead he put us all through yet again another dreadfull display of none agression.

ok, fair enough, ..... I just saw the same boring Audley in there, but in his last fight he had a broken arm, or dislocated, or sprained shoulder or whatever......so basically Audley Harrison has spent his entire career boxing like a one armed man, cos I didn't notice much difference and don't intend praise him for a lucky win that capped off an almost cowardly looking performance.

Well said, you certainly tore Oliver to shreds there with an excellent combination of poor grammar, poor use of the English language and, of course, multiple full stops. How can he possibly come back after that.

Audley to challenge for a world title at the age of 57

So he'll probably have turned 39 by his next fight? Most guys have retired by that age

You didn't notice much difference when a southpaw fighter turns orthodox for pretty much the whole fight?

He boxed with an injury against a very fired up opponent.Forget his past, the same people who slag him off hail Froch for his last gasp win over Taylor, not comparing the two, very different levels, but same principle.

Of course he's disappointed on many occasions, I won't dispute that. And yes, it was yet another "bad night", but at least this time he did have a genuine excuse and this time he did win.

As for Danny-Potter, Danny didn't "go for it straight away" either. He was boxing one-handed for three or four rounds and, much the same as what Sprott did, it was Potter steaming in when he didn't have to that brought about the KO.

He'll lose to Dimitrenko, probably widely on points in a snoozer, and then we're just back to square one. I would bet any amount of money on it. This time next year he'll rematch Martin Rogan.

Even allowing for past disappointments, if you didn't notice anything different in this particular fight, then you're either blind or biased.

And lucky win? That's what they always say when someone scores a one-punch KO. Was Sprott lucky too when he sparked Audley? Boxers throw punches with the intention of landing them. Therefore any win which is a result of a boxer landing a punch on the target area is not "lucky", it's the nature of the sport.

And cowardly? Well, that's the old chestnut with Audley, isn't it? In which case, why didn't he bail out at any point in the 9 or 10 previous rounds in which he was fighting injured?

We all know his deficiencies and I don't see him being a world champion, however in spite of this he has KO'd, when injured, when 2 minutes from the scrap heap (for the umpteenth time), a fighter that had brutally KO'd him previously to win a European title. Regardless of what has happened, or will happen over the course of his career, he deserves credit for that.
