'Big Mac' sounded really upbeat to me. That might not count for much but see what you think about what he says. What are your predictions for Maccarinelli-Kotlobay?

If Enzo has got the doubts out of his head, he can knock this guy out.

Well he sounds as if he's going to give it a good go, with his punching power anything could happen. As he said Kotlobay is inexperienced in the pro's and this could be a factor. The thing that is worrying me is that Kotlobay has a similar style to Lebedev, and we all know how that one went.
This fight reminds me of Glenn McCrory's last fight, he to had a couple of early round losses, but went the distance in a challenge to Alfred Cole, that one was in Russia as well.

I'd love Big Enzo to pull this off. Very nice chap, unfairly derided in my view. It would be a remarkable turn around as he has looked incredibly fragile of late.

With Maccarinelli's power anything can happen.

'Enzo Maccarinelli has rediscovered his love for Boxing on the eve of his vacant European cruiserweight title challenge in Russia next week.'
So he has found his love for boxing the day before next week?

So he has found his love for boxing the day before next week?
Lebedev hit him so hard, it even affected the equilibrium of sentences concerning him.

Almost as good as this one from an ex England footballer.

I love how he says "I make no excuses for my losses" immediately after making a series of excuses for his losses.

Absolutely par for the course this strategy.

He's always been a limited fighter with holes in his game, it's just his pre-Haye opponents were never good enough to expose the fact. Weirdly enough, post-Haye he's actually faced a better calibre of opponent than he did before The Big One. Add into the fact that he's clearly got mental doubts now as a result of the Haye beating, and that potentially spells disaster, hence the defeats to Afolabi and Lebedev.
Enzo's limitations were shown up in the close battles he had with Mark Hobson and Marcelo Dominguez, two fighters that most world-class cruisers would have walked through or at least comfortably beaten. I thought Hobson beat him and Dominguez hurt him often.
I'd love to see Enzo turn it all around on foreign soil though! He deserves credit for taking another risk with this one
