What would you like to change in boxing British and world wide?

- Get rid of the standing 8 count,

I have never liked the standing 8 count

- Olympic boxing get rid of head guards

- I have never been a fan of head guards in the Olympics, I loved watching Spinks, Ray Leonard and others when you didn’t have to wear head guards, Of course I think they should be worn at other times,

- Also the WBC, WBA etc shouldn’t rank wbu belt holders if the wbu is class as a world title fight by some promoters,

We need to get rid of these joke alphabet titles. The WBO, WBU, WBF, IBO titles, etc, do nothing but confuse and weaken the world title scene, and with the advent of super champions, even biggie titles have become confused and diluted (though WBC, WBA and IBF titles should remain).

As is mine, they don't work - FACT. I've had to write a report on it for my Msc.

Trust me - Punches hurt equally as much. Ill fitting ones are more dangerous, and thats not counting the psychological effects. Also it does provide a bigger target.

I feel very strongly about this. Outlaw it not just for the Olympics, but for ALL amateur boxing, including Schoolboy.

I would also like to see the age of Schoolboy boxing raised to 14, nothing worse than seeing Primary school kids beat each other up IMO.

i agree 100%

everyone knows the WBU, WBF are more easier to win than the british and euro titles.

Where do I start???. Well, definately get rid of all these fake world titles which have reduced boxing almost to wreastling.
Also there are far too many other titles such as inter-continent or what ever they are called titles.
The standing 8 count should go too. Also Id like to see fighters have to weigh in on the day of the fight again, so we don't have the silly situation of two ten stoners fighting for nine stone titles.
The current weight making proceedure encourages boxers to lose even more weight than the old system as they have a day to 'fill up' after weighing in now.

Get rid of inept underqualified judges and install ex-pros who know the fight game and can score fights correctly.
