I was speaking to his Uncle today who said he has Drawn Herbie in the first round. They are fighting last apparently.

Herbie will stop him in one. Williams v Dickinson will be good fight also Anthony v Corbett could be explosive

Lets be honest if he did pull the win off over you it would have propelled his career IMHO.

Herbie see this as easy money I got feeling someone might shock him not brooks though!

Herbie is way beyond his best, and his power doesn't seem as good nowadays, only 2 stoppages in his last 6 fights. He seems to only have a jab and straight right hand left, he just doesn't throw hooks anymore.

Of course he will start a huge favourite over Brooks, but i'm not so sure Herbie will be the winner of the whole thing.

Dead right about Hide.

He was so sharp & fast in his heyday.

I watched a lot of his early fights live & you could almost feel his power from ringside.

Like you say, that has all gone now.

I suppose that factor will make this prizefighter a lot more competitive & interesting.

Herbie should beat Brooks with ease....

But anything can happen in these things.

Herbie was devastating when he turned pro, i think if the cruiser 200lb limit had been in back then, he would of beaten anyone with his power. I remember first seeing him and thinking 'Wow' this is something special there.

I have said all along with this tourny that I expect an upset, not sure if that will come via Wayne but I don't think Hide will win the 30k

the shock i think will come if corbett fights hide in the second round hidw could get chinned there ??

the line-up for this cruiserweight prizefighter is not too competetive in my opinion, hide will wipe the floor with everyone and scoop the cash.

only corbett stands a punchers chance against herbie, but corbett is hardly iron chinned himself.

the smart money has got to be on the herbster !!
