Problem is, if Froch goes around slagging other boxers off like he did to Khan, he is going to get it back.

Froch called Khan overhyped, chinny and said he was boring when he won a world title. He's got to expect to get something back when he loses and he doesn't help himself when he says "if that had been in Nottingham" I would have won.

Also, Froch didn't win the world title the hard way, he won a vacant title. Khan actually beat a reigning champion.

To be fair to Carl he never slagged off Amir, he was merely asked his opinion which he gave, then Khan responded, then the whole "war of words" kicks off, then again they've acted more like schoolgirls bickering than having a war of words, you actually expect better from two fighters who have held/hold title belts.

That's not actually true. Carl has the world's biggest chip on his shoulder and it is always him that brings up the subjects of Khan and Calzaghe. There is a joke among the British press pack to see if he can get through an whole interview or press conference without bringing up the C word.

And Jesus, while Pascal has proved himself since the Froch fight, at the time he was unknown and had been out of the ring for a year. And who had Froch beaten to earn his world title fight, Robin Reid? Kotelnik went into the Khan fight on the back of a win over Marcos Maidana.

Does it matter if Froch won a vacant title? He beat a very good fighter in Pascal and has defended against top class opposition.

I too slated Froch lastnite ... mainly out of frustration that he could and should have done a lot more. The fight was well within his grasp. It just seems he believes his own hype too much.

His post fight comments where he claimed that he had Kessler seriously hurt 3times during the fight was clearly deluded. The only guy who had his knees dipped and was clearly hurt was Froch in the 8th.
Also, when he says the decision would have gone his way in Nottingham is yet another bad sign from Froch. You have to earn the verdict .. not rely on home town decisions

Froch can have some good fights in the remainder of the super6. He will not win it. But he will provide us with good fights every time.
