How do the Super 6 Semi Finals work?

Does anybody know how it is decided which fighters progress to the Super 6 semi-finals in the event of tied points, and how the semi-final draw will be decided?

If Ward beats Green and Dirrell and Kessler beats Green, that'll put both Dirrell and Froch on two points. So even if Froch lost to Abraham, would he still progress to the semi-finals based on his beating Dirrell? Or is there another way of deciding it? e.g. whether one of the two defeats was by knockout?

And how does the semi work - will it be 1st vs 4th and 2nd vs 3rd, or would they try to avoid rematches by (assuming the above outcomes) pitting Ward vs Froch and Kessler vs Abraham?

i think the way yove put it would be the fairest way , interesting to think that froch or abraham could go through even if they lose , suppose a lot is riding on green and dirrells fights , if they both lose to ward and kessler beats green then there both out .

i would think the 4 leading fighters will go through to the semis, and that whoever he's fighting, if he gets by, andre ward will fight in bloody oakland or at the very least in america...

Wonder what will happen if in regards to where the fights are staged. If Abraham was to KO Froch and finish top and Ward finished fourth, would Ward travel to Germany even though he said he wouldn't travel in the tournament?

I did pose this question on the Current scene a while back and someone said with confidence that if Froch and Dirrell are tied on points Froch will be above him and go through. I aint hanging my hat on this tho.

It is 1st v 4th and 2nd v 3rd, I'm pretty sure it goes on head to head in the result of even points but not 100%.

I think its 1st vs 4th and 2nd vs 3rd. I could imagine that the 1st and 2nd place fighters will have the home advantage, but its just speculation from my side.
