I don't quite know what is wrong with me as I wanted to see Enzo win. Just as long as he doesn't do anything stupid like chase Haye for a rematch, then I think I may continue to support him.

"I made a mistake"

The cruiserweight who came in from the cold.

Great win, he'll find his calls suddenly start to get returned now...

pleased to see hes still got that power and hopefully his confidence will return. A fight with herbie Hide would make sense if the latter impresses in prizefighter than maybe an unexpected world title shot. the cruiser division is still wide open

Enzo looked pretty good. He took a flush shot that he really shouldn't have. He was thinking too much about offence and not enough about defence. I agree about the power, caffrey. Enzo looked very powerful. I think he needs to work on his defence though, if he's to have a chance at winning another World title.

Very good win for a great bloke!!

Maybe he can still win back a world title after all but I hope he has a few progressional fights first instead of throwing himself in at the deep end straight away.

enzo always looks good scoring 1st round knockouts. his shots always look good. the problem comes when he fights someone who can take the punches, and keep coming back.

i'm pleased for him, but it doesn't mean he's going back up to world level. and it doesn't mean he's going to be european champ for a long time, necessarily.

Yeah, I agree. As soon as he can't get rid of someone early then we will see his confidence drain, ala Afolabi. He's still a car-wreck waiting to happen.

Assuming Fragomeni loses his upcoming title fight against Krzysztof Wlodarczyk, I think that would be a good fight for Enzo to see where he's at. "Tough as nails but no punch to speak" of guy who will most likely take Enzo into deep waters. He gave Haye and almighty tussle from what I can recall. Haye's face was a bloody mess at the end.

He just ran out of steam against Afolabi as he wasn't fit, Enzo Cal had far too much on his mind with JC's court case at the time!

I don't agree. Ola used only about 5% of energy in that fight - all he did was allow himself to get hit whilst throwing very little back at Macca. I believe it was very visible that Enzo just capitulated. Perhaps it was because Enzo thought that he couldn't get rid of Afolabi then he shouldn't be in boxing. I don't think it had too much to do with fitness, just a realisation that he had lost whatever he had in the first place. It was quite sad to see, actually.

Enzo is the biggest confidence fighter in the world, IMO.

Finally watched the fight on youtube and also a few of the Russian's other fights.

His opponent wasn't that bad at all really and Enzo just seemed not to 'worry' anymore and got straight on with it.

He's still a big name at Cruiser (16 letters long) and a fight with Hide would be a coin spinner.

It's good when a fighter can turn things around and come back from adversity. Pleased to see Enzo win this. Would love to see him knock Hide into next week.

That would have appeal to me if Hide wins Prizefighter. I'd put my money on Enzo beating Hide.

I wonder how much Enzo really has left. I thought he would be KO'd but he sure as hell proved me wrong. However, I still can't shake what happened to him four fights ago against Lebedev, being beaten so easily. Does anyone here think he can beat the likes of Wlod, Huck, Cunningham, or any top ten cruiserweights? I hate to pick against him again but I think all these guys, and solid up and comers like his mandatory Frenkel beat him.

A fight with Hide would probably be the way to go. At this point I highly doubt Herbie would be as tough as the other opponents I've mentioned, but he's got name recognition.
