What a present! I doubt it will be better than what we got last year with Tocker Pudwill, but I sure hope so!

Didn't see it, well done Mitchell !!
Well now I suppose it all makes sense, this dude is perfectly acceptable as a comeback fight, following his 'first defeat'.
Did he lose to Brewer aswell? Then Pudwill would have been okay!
Oh I get it now!

Bad choice poor fight ahead, Silvio Branco was mooted and some people were moaning, i would have much preferred a 37 year old Branco to this guy.

It'd be a great idea if Mkrtchyan came to the ring all done up in chistmas wrapping paper, tied up with a beautiful bow.
Then Frank can present him to Joe and shout
"A merry christmas to one and all!!

It does make you fear the worst for the Xmas present Warren is going to offer Ricky Hatton two days earlier on December 4 in Manchester. Omar Weis is still the man in the frame, but it really could be anyone.

You can't tell much from his record, but there's rumours flying about that this guy can actualy fight.
Hmmm...wonder if Frank has accidently picked a live one for Joe?
Anyone seen him fight at all?

Boxing News seems to feel he's a good fighter, but the guy is so unknown it places Joe in a no-win situation. If he is given a hard fight, people will say he performed badly. If he wins in a round, people will say he fought a stiff. Warren will come out with the crap that Joe HAD to fight the guy, given he is the mandatory contender. But Steve Robinson was WBO number one to Naz and it didn't count for a jot in the end.
No, this is a marking time fight for Calzaghe, who will no doubt attract a full house to the Cardiff Arena, all there to see a show as opposed to a boxing fight (Cardiff is now almost as cosmopolitan as London). Naz used to attract the same non-boxing audiences to his fights. It made me laugh when the beautiful people as I call them, saw a real fight on the undercard to Naz's win over Bungu - namely Micky Ward against Shea Neary. It was one of the most brutal battles seen in a British ring for years, and yet played out to eery silence at a packed Earl's Court. Too near the knuckle for the beautiful people.

I know what you mean bennie, I went to Joe's fight at Cardiff Castle and it was all the beautiful people crowding round ringside - doubt if many of them actualy knew which fighter was Calzaghe..
Loads of local fans too, but I saw most of them getting arrested outside before the fight even started - can't hold their drink the Welsh
