I've always liked Barry Hearn and I know he is a decent bloke, so I would like to think he will re-think this and drop Wayne from the card. He is a legend but he should not be fighting any more, in my opinion and the opinion of plenty of people with more medical training than me.
As my previous post shows, I totally agree with you. That said, do you reckon its safer for shot fighters to do stuff like this or better to go unlicensed? (I'm thinking of Michael Gomez) I'd guess that unlicensed shows don't have the same medical procedures in place, although there's probably very little chance of a good ex-pro getting beaten.
