No, it's started to become a Grovel for Pacquiao site. Manny is so overrated I think it might give me cancer.

Don't you think his star faded a bit last night. I don't see how he avoids PBF or the blood testing now.

Nope, I'm reading the general sports articles and they say shit like "If Mayweather fights anyone other than Pacquiao, don't watch." Obviously the general public is still drinking the kool-aid, thanks in no small part to the sportswriters for places like Yahoo and ESPN.

I'm not a fan of PBF but he has mad skills. If anybody beats him it will have to be a iron jawed, pressure fighter , with a great work rate. But he will have to be special. I don't know if a blown up lightweight can do the job. I also think PBF is a big fish in a small pond. I doubt he would have ruled the roost in the era of Leonard, Duran, and Hearns.

Looking forward to PBF vs MP.

Glad to see the original poster has broadened his his horizons since his 4 week holiday.

This is a fight that must happen. I don't see how they avoid one another.

Il tell you what will happen, Nevada will change their rulings regarding testing as has been hinted and seeing as Arum and Roach have both said Manny will meet any commission rules Arum will insist on the fight taking place at Cowboys stadium. Mark my words this WILL happen..

Shouldn't this be in the current scene?

Agree on this. Mayweatehr is a top fighter. Has been for years. Beating Moseley was good but it wasn't a big achievement.

Pac will be a test but he's too small. Williams is the fighter Floyd needs.

Our resident favorite poster wrote "Is BoxRec A Shill Site For Ali"? Buzz changed it.

That's why Diamond Weapon's response seems out of context.

Ok. Anyway, as much as I don't like Mayweather, he is very skilled and I'd favor him over Manny.

And the Mosely fight really didn't mean much of anything other than as a cash generator. A younger Mosely would have done better, but Floyd is a bad style matchup for any version of Floyd.

The poll is in boxers of the past.

Most guys here have no idea.

The answer is no, this is a Pacquiao nuthugger site.

LOL, wtf? Buzz made it so I hijacked a Muhammad Ali thread/poll. I was just trying to voice my opinion. I don't necessarily think people here go overboard with the Ali love. Sure he's overrated in the mainstream sense but the posters here don't necessarily seem to act as though he was invincible. Frazier and Norton absolutely showed it wasn't the case.

Granberry made a "Trash Ali And BoxRec" poll. Buzz changed the topic.

Yeah, I know, I was simply saying Buzz essentially made me the thread-started when I threw that curveball at Granberry that had nothing to do with Ali.

granberry started this? Didn't think he even thought about these modern day phonies. Nice to know he keeps up with the game.

And DW....my apologies to you. Your check is in the mail.

P.S. It's very sad that so many folks seem to have misplaced the ol' golden elixir. That has all the makings of a blues song!

Actually no, Granberry didn't mention any current fighters. he made a poll asking if Boxrec kisses Ali's ass essentially and I replied no, with my own opinion that Pacquiao's ass seems to get kissed moreso.

It's all good though, I'm sure you guys in BOTP (which I don't come to post in that often) are semi-glad I silenced the old coot.

Granberry doesn't watch contemporary boxing.
