Oscar De La Hoyas reaction at Mosley Wobbling Mayweather

The way Oscar Jumped out of his seat his face a picture of delight and excitement when Shane wobbled Mayweather was heart warming and just showed the enormous respect between these two men who fought bitter battles in the ring.
Oscar De La Hoya has been an incredible blessing for the sport and business of boxing.
I think his inring achievements which were perhaps in the 90's rather overstated are now conversely a little undervalued in light of defeats to Pacquio and Hopkins.
i still rate Oscar as a great fighter who would have done well in pretty much any decade even if he wouldnt neccesarily have been champion in every decade.
How do you guys rate him in comparison to the heroes of the 80's and before that.
Consider him in the divisions you feel he is most relavent.
