July 9th. Coburg Town Hall
I've given Joel a big task here but he wants the big fights.
I'm confident he can do well.
What do you guys think?

Casey has won a 12 rounder. Foley has not fought a ten rounder.
I would favour Casey.

I pick Casey, I judged him over here against Letizia, He really looks to have improved heaps in the last year. I also like Brute think that having been the 12 rounds will give him a slight edge in the fight.

Kerry Foley holds a win over Joel already, but this is a new Joel casey, it will be interesting.
Hey with the american fighting for Joels title in the US before this fight, will the WBF title still be on the line

congrats to lip for gettin these two together, should be an awesome fight, just find it hard to respect a world title when one opponent couldnt win a state title. other than that looks to be a great card

One of those strange ANBF rules. If the Australian Champion wins a regional title he has to relinquish his Australian title. Foley and Casey are both rated higher than McConville.

But they haven't beaten anyone near the level of opponents as Mc Conville, Foley's best win was against Casey, and Casey's best win was against McKay, good wins but not at the level of Porky. Rankings can be very biased and sometimes common sense is needed.

I think this fight could go either way, depending who wants it more, joel has a few losses but looks like he is willing to take on anyone which is great, the winner to fight Tim Bell...

Not exactly up on current events are you?

There are two WBF's now - There is the Foundation run by Mick Croucher and the Federation which split on the instigation of Howard Goldberg who was not happy the direction things were going. It was originially announced by Howard and his European colleague (who between the two of them were responsible for nearly all of the success Mick's org had had) that Mick had agreed to stand down. Mick released a statement saying no way so they then separated. There you go!

No i knew that believe it or not...... Foundation/Federation. And since there hasn't been the response i thought i would get i feel this needs to be properly explained.
Step 1;Go to schedule,
Step2; you will have 4 selections to choose Location, division, title and TV.
step3 Choose Title, scroll down and select World Boxing Foundation....not federation..... Foundation! the only 2 scheduled fights for that orginazation are the american fighting for the LT Heavy title and Joel fighting for the exact same title a month later. 2 Blokes fighting, not against each other but for the same exact title....and it's the full version.
It's honestly the worst thing i've ever seen in boxing, as far as sanctioning go's anyway.
Someones title is Bogus, you can't have 2 champs with a full version
