The Trashing of Fighters of the Modern Era

It appears that certain members of the http://www.boxrec.com community blatantly trash the champions and fighters of the modern era in the most cynical manner possible.
I paraphrase, of course, but here are some examples:
1) "Jimmy Young was better than Ali" - Okay. Young won 34, lost 19, drew 2. Ali: 56-5-0. ?
2) "Ken Norton never beat a good fighter" - Didn't he beat Muhammad Ali, Jerry Quarry and, oh yes, Jimmy Young?
3) "Ali quit in his corner like a yellow dog as soon as Holmes decided to open up finally with a few serious punches." - You mean a shot, flabby Ali? Ali may have been many things but a coward wasn't one of them. Was Liston a yellow dog for quitting on his stool? Was Frazier for allowing Futch to pull him out of the Ali fight?
4) "Hagler was a small boned, physically weak 160 pounder as compared with the top middleweights in history." When was the last time you got punched by Hagler? Sugar Ray Robinson was two inches taller than Hagler so if they both made the middleweight limit it's clear who is the smaller boned of the two. And regarding strength, Hagler's knockout ratio is superior to Sugar Ray's.
It's a real shame when bitterness and hatred get in the way of logic, rational discussion and mutual respect. :(
