i think warren would go for it if the wbo ordered it and marquez wanted it.

marquez is knocking on a bit.

marquez is a name and the rewards for winning would be big.

reckon he'd take the gamble.

fight would sell big as well.

more chance of that fight happening than a murray one.

Like yourself, I understand the reasons why that fight would made. If Mitchell loses to JMM, well, he lost to a legend. If he wins, then he beat a legend and will receive major exposure. I think there is a very strong possibility that JMM will take a fair share of punishment in his return with Diaz. Consequently, he may be ripe for the taking in subsequent contests and fighters like Mitchell who would not stand a chance with the Mexican great in their prime would now be live opponents.

It depends on how much JMM shows against Diaz. If he looks vulnerable, it might be a wise, albeit extremely risky gamble.

I would like to see him in with Murray but maybe Warren will chase the bigger names in the decision, like JMM or Diaz

Im pretty sure the winner will get a shot a Marquez in their next fight i think thats the fight Warren wants its PPV worthy the onyl way i see it not happening is if Marquez vacates but then where does he go? He doesnt want to compete at light welter agaisnt Khan Alexander Bradley etc so i think a Mitchell Marquez bout is highly likely if Mitchell wins. Frank is the master fo getting the right fighter at the right time Tszyu Barrera etc
