so where does this report come from?? seems to be all hear say

i'd love to see degale ditch his L plates, he's got great ability but is getting carried away on the bums he has beat. but then you cant knock ambition.

Why cant we have all our prospects building up separately... vs Euro or US opponents maybe get them into separate routes for titles... instead of trying to smash them into eachother when one has some momentum like it was some sort of CERN experiment

As much as I have crossed my good pal Smigga over recent months I would truly love to see him give Degale a boxing lesson.

ive read de gale said it would be hard to fight smith as hes a friend of the smith family

I don't believe Chunky would call out Paul to be honest....

I think Horton is a good test for DeGale. He will cause him problems imo

I ain't seen much of him to be honest BUT I do think Chunky will have far too much for him to be honest...

I just wish people would provide proof when they post stuff like this. Degale may be many things to many people but i am 99% sure he would not be calling Paul out. If the fight HAD to happen then i am sure it would go ahead but not with Degale calling Paul out.
Plus he still has to beat Horton, who will give Degale a good test.

It looks to me like DeGale will not be stepping up too quickly, which is good.

degale should go for the british at some point this year.

i think people forget he won the middleweight olympic gold, it's what he does. he's enterd the british ranks & doesnt know how to take fight by fight & build himself up slowly, he wants to be number one in the country & move on, if he never had this out look people would be criticising.can you imagine the belief he must have after winning the gold medal & defeating a cuban to do so

Smith's style would cause Degale problems and I think it would be an interesting match up.

I think it might be a bit like the middleweight version of Fury vs McDermott, young, talented and arrogant vs come forward, aggressive and experienced. I think it might be a similar outcome as well but with Smith getting the better of Degale by pure brut strength.

I dont know if he boxes well I would see him giving DeGale some troubles, but DeGale should get the job done

Lets see Degale in with a decent SMW before we start going off that he will do this and that etc..... From what he has shown so far he is a year and a half off Smith's level.

not necesarily , he might be expecting smith to vacate soon for a run with the euro title or maybe even a world title step up , and im sure if that happened frank would haggle an easy ish fight for the vacant title

I wouldn't say he is calling Smith out. DeGale is saying how much he'd like to fight for the British title.
