I have to admit that when i try to think of Australian boxers with the gift of the gab i seem to be drawing a bit of a blank. In some ways it's an art of its own.

Any one know any fighters that didnt mind a bit of trash talk to get their name mentioned in the sports section, or just to gee up an opponent in general?

These two quotes have stuck in my mind for a while, which is what got me thinking about this, hope you guys can throw up a few more examples too

Lovemore Ndou (comments post Mundine vs Geale)

Ndou, 37, said Geale "was such a nice guy he wouldn't retaliate against Mundine's constant illegal tactics''.

They were the first two who came to mind when I read the thread title

i cant remember the exact wording but i did like greeny's comment pre rjj. when he mentioned about how hes the v8 and hes gonna put the pedal to the metal or somethin along those lines.

Vic is the best trash talker in australia ATM probley the best ive heard in a while his trash talking is a level above most peoples IMO

Gotta agree Mark. I love Vic's interviews. The sweetscience has provided some great lines from Vic. What I love about a Vic interview is you never know when he is going to change from "Humble Vic" to "Shit stirrer Vic"....I love it :P

it seems to be so much more well thought out than the american trash talkers as well
