Can Kell Brook become the new Amir Khan

With Amir spending most of his time in the USA. Can Kell become the no1 british boxer in the public eye? I think the potentials there he just needs a push in the right direction a PR person to help get him some interviews in the mainstream news etc. Its obvious to anyone with a eye for talent that hes got the tools to go all the way and with the right direction he could be as well known as amir, joe calzaghe, carl froch, ricky hatton.

If everyone in the UK were you, Emma, then yes. Otherwise, no.

He could do with a bit more of a push from allegedly. Still not become the bill topper I thought he would be by now.

he hasn't really been that active
BTW Malignaggi is moving up to welterweight. He could be a good opponent for Kell Brook in terms of recognition!

He has pulled out against Jennings three times! They were first down to box in October last year.I think Fwank would have given him a big push had he been impressive in that fight.

he has the tools but no momentum.
story of his career - either he or the opponent pulls out.
but he'll get the chances, because khan left FW and FW wants world champions.
all this pallarva over a fight vs someone whom miguel cotto dismissed without breaking a sweat.

I have been a fight fan for 25 years and have watched it steadily decline, there was a time when even my nan knew who was who in boxing and names like conteh, sibson, kaylor, bruno etc were all well known because they were shown on mainstream tv for free,if i mention carl froch or danny williams, who are 2 of our most well known fighters hardly anyone has even heard of them never mind seen them in action and that won't change until it's free

Amir Khan wasn't the new Amir Khan. He never took the mantle from Ricky as the #1 British boxer in the public eye.

What is Malignaggi playing at, seems like a desperate deluded bid to further his career. He should really be focusing on getting nutritionists on board to move DOWN to Lightweight. He's a small Light Welter.
He will get smashed at Welter.

He seems a poor mans junior witter to me no disrespect intended.
It just seem to me, his hands are a lot slower than most of the ingle product.
if he could perhaps become less muscle bound and increase his speed I can see him being succesfull.

I am a boxing fan and dont know much about brook, he would need some heavy selling to the public.
Maybe with Mitchell's loss he might get a bit more marketing off frank.

He's stopped some decent enough domestic fighters, but hasn't done much else yet.
There is a danger of him being the "new" Kevin Mitchell.
He just needs fights, simple really.
The pull outs V Jennings must be a concern, though. Is he prone to injury?

I once told David Kirk that Brook was slow. Brook went out and smashed Kirk with a series of lightning-quick punches.

hard to believe? he has had 3 GENUINE injuries, you can tell brook desperatly wants jennings in every interview, jennings also pulled out of 1 fight. if brook wasn't injured then he would still be fighting on july 3rd but he ISN'T so the only donut here is you pal

barrie jones gave him a hard fight? brook beat the hell out of him, did you even watch the fight
