Is Katsidis a smaller fighter compared to Khan?

So some ppl are claiming that Khan should fight people his own size like Maidana, Bradley, Alexander etc instead of Katsidis
But isn't Katsidis just as big as those guys? I'm pretty sure Bradley is actually alot shorter!

its more to do with Katsidis fighting at light and Bradley lightwelter.
If the Katsidis fight was made while Khan was at light i dont think there would have been any issue, as Katsidis would have been a credible fight.

Katsidis is a massive lightweight. I think he's probably very near the same weight as the guys mentioned by the time they get in the ring.

Isn't Katsidis meant to be fighting Marquez soon for the Lineal, Ring, WBA & WBO Lightweight titles?
Would he get more money for a Khan fight? Could he fight both?

I know styles make fights and all that, but Katsidis was easily between by Diaz (ignore the SD; only a member of the Katsidis family gives him more than 3 rounds in that one), who was easily between by Malignaggi (scoring aside) who was well beaten by Khan.
Someone posted on the BBC that Khan's and Mitchell's results couldn't be compared because of the relative quality of opposition. hmmm...
Katsidis obviously has a puncher's chance against Khan, but not much beyond that.

perfectly good fight for khan.
especially considering the fact khan hasn't long gone up to the weight.

doesn't look it
katsidis' trainer has said a khan fight isn't likely, but that a murray fight is possible, if...mick hennessy makes the right offer.

Katsidis has fought as a welterweight on two occasions and weighed in a couple times at 140, but for most of his career he has been a lightweight. His heaviest weight was 144, while Bradley, Alexander, and Maidana have topped out at 146, 155, and 151 respectively. Bradley, who is the smallest of the junior welterweights, is fighting at 147 in his next bout and fought at 156 as an amateur.
All three of these fighters are bigger than Katsidis and all three are tougher tasks. If Khan is going to use Katsidis as a stay busy foe between fighting the best at 140, than I don't see the problem. However, beating Katsidis should not move him up in the junior welterweight rankings. Khan should be looking to fighting Maidana, Bradley, Alexander, Ortiz.
