If you join the Prizefighter club you get a free t-shirt. I thought I'd post this here in case anyone wants one.

There's no need to fight. Matchroom Sport and Sky have done very well with Prizefighter. I don't think they'll be too bothered about NEBF's comments.

Who cares, it's free. It's a bloody t-shirt.

It's not free. Do you not regard your personal information as having a value? Read the privacy and data protection notices on the site and find out if your information will be passed on or SOLD to third parties.
As far as I can remember you can tick boxes if you want to receive any extra info from Matchroom or third parties. I did not tick these boxes. Thanks for your concern though. :TU:

What boxes? I just signed up, there was none.
Was there not boxes you tick before you hit 'Submit'?Maybe that was the World Cup Promo I signed up to

Anyway I'm not to bothered about giving away a email address that I use solely for junk mail and an address that I won't be living in next month.

Nice of PrizeFighter to give these T-Shirts away for free.

If you listened to Buncey's London show, then you will have heard Hearn saying that over 30,000 people have signed up to this Prizefighter 'club', and that there was only 1,000 T-Shirts available. So don't expect a free Prizefighter t-shirt any time soon ;;-)

out of curiosity does getting people to sign up for something and offering a free t-shirt to do so , work the same as far as trade description act lol, or maybe it doesnt as its not being a paid service , just wondering as it may have been really short sighted of them if they only ordered 1000 without stating , whilst stocks last . although its free advertising for them

I just signed up, as somebody else mentioned, it's a nice tee shirt to go running in or gym. Can't grumble for nowt. It is indeed a data capture exercise but sod it, there's many companies out there have your address etc already and they haven't given you a free t-shirt for the trouble.

i suggest mr hearn gets ordering and printing more t shirts then, a promise is a promise and its good advertising for the new boxing concept.

if hearn has his wits about him, he will realise that, if he runs 2 prizefighter competitions side by side on the same night, people would pay £10 PPV. i certainly would...... providing they changed the rules so the reserves would at least fight each other to see who is going in the competition. there should also be some sort of a rule for the best loser to progress if someone is cut etc.

Yea ive always said thought that, why dont the 2 reserves fight each other before the cameras come on and the winner gets in if soemone has to drop out,
makes it fairer as at least he wouldnt be coming into a fight without being totally Fresh.

i suppose if something happened that he got cut though there would be no reserves though
but worth chancing it.

I think a substitute is fine if he goes in to the semi.

Otherwise, for ther final, the losing semi finalist should be able to proceed.
